It has always been a thrill to watch Philippine sports because of the passion and dedication of the players. To add to its thrill, ABS-CBN introduces a new technosport in town that’s guaranteed to be fun and exciting, and yet, challenging.<\/p>\n

Hado<\/strong>\u00a0Pilipinas<\/strong> is an augmented reality game that merges the fun of dodgeball with augmented reality balls and shields. The game was developed in Japan, with\u00a0hado <\/em>translating to\u00a0vibration or wave motion.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Hado Squad demonstrates how\u00a0the gameplay of Hado Pilipinas works<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

A total of six players can play Hado Player versus Player (Hado PvP)<\/strong> per game,\u00a0who will then be divided into two teams of three. The teams will be given 80 seconds<\/strong> to battle inside the Hado PvP Arena, and the winner is decided by who knocks-out more opponents by the end of regulation.<\/p>\n

During the game, players will wear the Hado head-mounted display and a side-arm device. The devices allow the players to get into the game, throw the virtual energy balls, and pull up their shields.<\/p>\n

The first to experience the technosport\u00a0are students from colleges and universities in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)<\/strong>.\u00a0Hado Pilipinas is currently going around each of the schools to introduce the technosport and to hold camps for students to fully immerse in the experience.<\/p>\n

Champions of the ongoing Hado Pilipinas NCAA Collegiate Cup 2019<\/strong> will be given the chance to represent the country at the Hado World Cup 2019 in Tokyo, Japan<\/strong>\u00a0in December. Competitors at the Hado World Cup have the chance to bring home \u00a52 million.<\/p>\n

According to Cookie Bartolome, the head of ABS-CBN Themed Experiences, “This technosport combines physical and digital play in a game that various teams, groups of friends, even families can play and enjoy.”<\/p>\n

In line with this, those who want to try out the game can do so as the Hado Pilipinas Camp<\/strong> will open in the last quarter of 2019 inside the ABS-CBN Compound in Quezon City.<\/p>\n

\"\"People from the media had the opportunity to experience the gameplay at Hado Pilipinas’ Media Day<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Further, the “Hado Pilipinas” journey<\/strong> will have a show that will air on ABS-CBN S+A, S+A HD, and LIGA HD<\/strong>\u00a0every Sunday <\/strong>at 11:30 a.m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Said show will also be available for streaming on iWantTV<\/strong> starting August 25,\u00a0<\/strong>hosted by Vince Velasco and Denice Dinsay. Viewers can also expect the Hado Squad, including Jairus Aquino, Jeremy Glinoga, Arabella Del Rosario, Aiyana Perlas, Samm Alvero, and Kimson Tan; and the Hado resident analysts Roxanne Montealegre, Migs Gomez, and Martin Javier.<\/p>\n
