The country’s first authentic craft distillery\u00a0Full Circle Craft Distillers Co.<\/strong>\u00a0has officially launched their flagship gin spirit, Archipelago Botanical Gin<\/strong> and its sister spirits, Archipelago Barrel Reserve<\/strong> and Archipelago Lava Rock Vodka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Archipelago (ARC) signature spirits were created to promote the very best of Philippine liquor by using a rare blend of 28 exotic botanicals\u201422 of which are native in the country.<\/p>\n

For one, the ARC Botanical Gin (Php 2,800)<\/strong> is an unfiltered spirit with citrus-forward complex notes made\u00a0with\u00a0pomelos\u00a0from Davao, pine buds from Benguet, dalandan oranges\u00a0from Quezon Province, and fresh mango from the owners’ family farm in Dansol, Pangasinan.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the ARC Barrel<\/strong>\u00a0Reserve Gin (Php 3,400)<\/strong>\u00a0rests the ARC Botanical Gin in toasted American Oak barrels, which then adds aromas of vanilla bean, caramel, dark chocolate, toasted almond, and hazelnut.<\/p>\n

Full Circle also created the ARC Lava Rock Vodka (Php 1,800),<\/strong> which is naturally filtered over lava rocks from the volcanoes of Taal and Mayon. This crisp spirit has a hint of minerality, celebrating the rich terrain of the Philippines.<\/p>\n

Co-founded by Matthew and Laurie Westfall,\u00a0<\/strong>Full Circle Craft Distilleries Co.\u00a0was inspired by Matthew’s grandfather who came and worked for San Miguel Brewery, Manila back in 1918.<\/p>\n

Every bottle is labeled by hand, signed, and batch-numbered by Matthew Westfall himself to certify the quality of each before it gets to your glass.<\/p>\n

Just 10 months out the gate, ARC Botanical Gin and its sister spirits have garnered international recognition and medals, including two Gold medals at the prestigious World Gin Awards 2019 and two Silvers at the World Spirits Awards as the first Philippine entrant in the event’s history.<\/p>\n

This August, Full Circle’s 5,000-square meter distillery complex in Calamba, Laguna is slated to open to the public as the first distillery in the country to proudly share its processes and techniques in a fully transparent way.<\/p>\n
