On February 4th<\/sup>, Facebook<\/em> will be celebrating its 12th<\/sup> anniversary.<\/span><\/p>\n In a Facebook post by Mark Zuckerberg, the man behind the world\u2019s largest social network Facebook<\/em>, Zuckerberg shared the detail of how he made Facebook as a portal wherein he could unite his college community altogether. He first wrote the code of Facebook in January 2004 hoping it could help his fellow students at Harvard University to communicate with each other. Now, more than 1.5 billion people use this social networking site to connect and re-connect with their friends or loved ones from across the globe.<\/span><\/p>\n Zuckerberg saw how Facebook became a platform to share love and rekindle friendship among people. In relation with Facebook\u2019s 12th<\/sup> birthday on February 4, he asked Facebook users to join him in celebrating #FriendsDay, as a moment to celebrate friendship that made a difference in people\u2019s lives. On the same Facebook post, Zuckerberg asked users to share their stories of friendship on the comments section.<\/span><\/p>\n
