Attention, BPI users!<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI)<\/b> issued an advisory last May 30 to its clients that they are set to impose additional fees on BPI\u2019s online and mobile app transactions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Effective <\/span>July 1, 2019<\/b>, the Ayala-owned bank will charge their users Php 10<\/strong> for\u00a0<\/span>money transfers to unenrolled third-party accounts\u00a0<\/span>per transaction, and transfers to other banks via Instapay will have <\/span>Php 50 <\/b>fee per transaction.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the advisory, money transfer to unenrolled accounts via QR code will be free for a limited period only, while the dollar to peso transfer and transfers to own and enrolled accounts will remain free of charge.<\/span><\/p>\n

BPI also encouraged their clients to enroll their own third-party accounts and sign the Third Party Account Enrollment Form to continue enjoying fund transfer services for free in BPI’s online and mobile transactions.<\/span><\/p>\n
