On January 23, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach is scheduled to come home to the Philippines as a grand homecoming waits upon her arrival.<\/span><\/p>\n

In its official Facebook page, Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc., (BPCI) confirmed that Pia Wurtzbach will be back at January 23 and a series of events will follow thereafter. According to Stella Araneta -Marquez, the BPCI chairperson, Pia will arrive in Manila at 6 am.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here is the itinerary of Pia\u2019s homecoming schedule:<\/span><\/p>\n

January 23 \u2013 Arrival<\/span><\/p>\n

January 24 \u2013 Press Conference, Novotel Araneta Center in Cubao, QC (6 pm)<\/span><\/p>\n

January 25 \u2013 Victory Parade starting at the Araneta Center in QC, to Manila, and Makati (9 am)<\/span><\/p>\n

January 26 \u2013 Charity Event<\/span><\/p>\n

January 27 \u2013 Courtesy call in Malaca\u00f1ang<\/span><\/p>\n

January 28 \u2013 Homecoming Special at the Smart Araneta Coliseum<\/span><\/p>\n

Since her win at the prestigious pageant<\/a>, many Filipinos have been waiting for her comeback here in the Philippines. After her scheduled events, she has to go back to New York to fulfill her obligations as Miss Universe.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pia Wurtzbach is the third Filipina crowned as Miss Universe, after Gloria Diaz in 1969 and Margie Moran in 1973.<\/span><\/p>\n
