NLEX Corporation<\/strong> will soon implement a toll hike,\u00a0with an additional Php 10<\/strong> payment in the open system and Php 0.18 per kilometer<\/strong> in the closed system, starting March 20, 2019<\/strong>. Said increases have been approved by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB).<\/span><\/p>\n

The Php 10 increase is inclusive of\u00a0the add-on toll rate of Php 6 following the completion of the Harbor Link Segment 10; and Php 4 (open system) and Php 0.18 per kilometer (closed system) from the approved periodic adjustments that were originally due in 2013 and 2015.<\/p>\n

The following are the\u00a0additional rates for open system traversing within Quezon City to Marilao sections:<\/p>\n

Class 1 (ordinary cars): +Php 10
\nClass 2 (buses and small trucks): +Php 23
\nClass 3 (large trucks\/trailers): +Php 29<\/p>\n

The open system includes high traffic congestion areas like Balintawak, Mindanao Ave., Karuhatan, Valenzuela, Caloocan, Meycauayan and Marilao interchanges and toll plazas.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the additional rates for closed system traveling end to end or between EDSA Balintawak to Sta. Ines Mabalacat City are as follows:<\/p>\n

Class 1: +Php\u00a022
\nClass 2: +Php\u00a056
\nClass 3: +Php\u00a067<\/p>\n
