Attention, expats! <\/span><\/p>\n

You only have until March 1<\/strong>, for your 2019 annual report<\/strong> at the Bureau of Immigration (BI)<\/strong> offices. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All foreigners registered with the bureau are required to report to any BI field, satellite, and extension offices nearest them until this Friday. The list of BI-accredited offices can be accessed through their website<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from personal appearance, expats are also required to bring their Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR I-Card)<\/strong> and fees of Php 300<\/strong> for annual report fee and Php 10<\/strong> for legal research fee to the government.<\/span><\/p>\n

BI Commissioner Jaime Morente<\/strong> reiterated that the deadline is non-extendible. At the same time, those who will not be able to report on or before the set deadline may be subjected to a fine or prosecution for violating Republic Act No. 562 or the Alien Registration Act of 1950. <\/span><\/p>\n

According to the law, BI-registered foreigners, who are immigrant and non-immigrant visa holders, are required to make the annual report within the first 60 days of a year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Reports of minors aged 14 and below, on the other hand, should be made by the parents or the guardians on their behalf. Those currently out of the country can still file 30 days from the date of their return as long as they have valid re-entry permits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
