The workshop introduced Docukit as a robust document management system that enables a printer’s Multi-Function Display (MFD) with full archiving features. The purpose is to use the office copier into a hardware that not only can copy, print, scan but also archive documents.<\/p>\n

Metadata,<\/strong> or the information describing the document, is captured in two ways through Docukit: Image Level Metadata, which may pertain to the date and time of upload, the name of the operator; and the Business Process Metadata, where users can find and file by document type, the encoded last name, and address within the document.<\/p>\n
