Travel-lovers can now rejoice as the\u00a0Department of Transportation (DOTr) recently announced that\u00a0almost half of the 42 airports in the Philippines\u00a0are now offering evening flights.<\/p>\n

This is to accommodate more passengers for their daily travels, as well as to increase the tourists in the country.<\/p>\n

DOTr also said in a press release that they are aiming to turn all 42 airports as night-rated before the Duterte administration ends in 2022.<\/p>\n

Airports in Legazpi, Roxas, Dumaguete, and Caticlan were already night-rated last year, while Tuguegarao airport was night-rated just earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Here’s the complete list of night-rated airports provided by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines:<\/p>\n

  1. Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (Clark) – 24 hours<\/li>\n
  2. Francisco Bangoy International Airport (Davao) – 24 hours<\/li>\n
  3. Kalibo International Airport – 24 hours<\/li>\n
  4. Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) – 24 hours<\/li>\n
  5. Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) – 24 hours<\/li>\n
  6. Subic Bay International Airport (SBIA) – 24 hours<\/li>\n
  7. Bacolod-Silay Airport – 24 hours<\/li>\n
  8. Butuan Airport – 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/li>\n
  9. Roxas Airport – 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.<\/li>\n
  10. Zamboanga International Airport – 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/li>\n
  11. Iloilo Airport – 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/li>\n
  12. Laguindingan Airport – 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/li>\n
  13. Tacloban Airport – 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/li>\n
  14. Legazpi Airport – 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.<\/li>\n
  15. Tambler International Airport (General Santos) –\u00a06 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/li>\n
  16. Caticlan Airport – 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.<\/li>\n
  17. Dumaguete Airport – 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.<\/li>\n
  18. Laoag International Airport – 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.<\/li>\n
  19. Puerto Princesa International Airport – 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Next airports in line are Naga and Dipolog, which are targeted before this year ends.<\/p>\n

    Meanwhile, Cauayan, Panglao, and Cotabato\u00a0airports are expected to be night-rated by 2019.<\/p>\n
