style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Mr. Daisuke Tonai, Executive Director of the JNTO Manila Office, Ms. Merlita Losegro Teng, Officer of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association,\u00a0Mr. Satoshi Seino, President of the JNTO,\u00a0Mr. Katsuyuki Kawai, Special Advisor for Foreign Affairs to President Shinzo Abe of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of House of Representative, Mr. Carlos Dominguez, Secretary of the Department of Finance of the Philipines, Mr. Koji Haneda, Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines, Ms. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, Secretary of Tourism to the Philippines, and Mr. Hiroshi 28.69 million visitors to Japan from overseas in 2017, the JNTO project aims to achieve the government goal of 40 million visits by 2020 which is the Olympic year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: number of visitors to Japan every year since it was positioned as a priority market of the Visit Japan Tourism Promotion Project in 2012.
