(MPTC)\u00a0was opened on August 4, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The Php 1.1-billion project focuses on widening the road from Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) to Zapote Road, once completed, there will be four operational lanes open to motorists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">In a report, MPTC says that the flyover aims to remove the stop-and-go scheme before entering the expressway. \u201cThe main highlight of the flyover is that we have removed the stop-and-go scheme for vehicles heading northbound and southbound, especially vehicles heading Macapagal Blvd. The stoplight and the stop-and-go scheme was one of the main reasons for the heavy traffic in Cavitex,\u201d the MPTC said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The development of the MPTC&#8217;s expansion project is personally inspected by Public Works and Highways Sec. Mark Villar. In a report from Ronda Balita, Villar says that motorists will soon experience the full benefits of the extension once all of the lanes are already open.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">\u201cThe partial opening of the flyover has made a difference in improving the flow of traffic and passage of vehicles in CAVITEX.
