Dr. Alejandro is a pediatrician and has been practicing for 15 years. She earned her pre-medical degree from the University of the Philippines and her\u00a0degree in Medicine from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center.<\/p>\n
A typical day for Dr. Alejandro starts with conducting rounds before holding her clinic. Despite the unavoidable communication barriers of having babies and children as patients, Dr. Alejandro loves being a pediatrician because of the sense of fulfillment brought about by helping others overcome their illness.<\/p>\n
Watching her patients from infants to teenagers is also rewarding. For aspiring doctors, Dr. Alejandro advises them to be completely sure before taking a medical degree. Although it has been said many times before, she reiterates that medicine is more of a vocation than a profession.<\/p>\n
