Kam&#8217;s is popular for poultry, but their Toro Char Siu (barbecued pork belly) will lead the pack in Manila.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yes, we&#8217;re veering away from their affinity to poultry and going straight for the jugular. Their <em>toro char siu\u00a0<\/em>or barbecued pork belly stands out because of its balance between sweet and savory. It&#8217;s roasted in a way that gives it a distinct red tinge. Yes, it&#8217;s still roast chicken, but we know you&#8217;ll want to come back for this multiple times over.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Roast chicken isn&#8217;t anything new to Filipinos. We understand that the names Chook&#8217;s, Andok&#8217;s, Baliuag, and Mang Inasal might still reign supreme, but Kam&#8217;s <em>soya chicken\u00a0<\/em>is in a different class. It&#8217;s the kind of roast chicken you&#8217;ll be serving at a dinner party. In case you&#8217;re wondering, yes it tastes similar to our <em>cochinillo.<\/em>\u00a0We&#8217;re guessing there are no further explanations needed for this experience.<\/p>\n<p>With these four dishes, Kam&#8217;s Roast is set-up for success in the country. Yes, we&#8217;re not getting their Michelin-starred roast goose, but everything else on the menu is just as good.<\/p>\n<p><em>Kam&#8217;s Roast is located at 3\/F, Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall B, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City.
