Eid’l Fitr marks the end of Ramadan. The date varies every year due to lunar considerations, but the estimated date for 2015 is on July 17\u2014that makes July 17 to 19<\/strong> a possible long weekend, pending official proclamation.<\/span><\/p>\n

No time to prepare for a vacation? Head out to Nuvali<\/a>, a few minutes’ drive from the city through the South Luzon Expressway.<\/span><\/p>\n

The death anniversary of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. is remembered through a special non-working holiday. Most companies honor this; in that case, August 21 to 23<\/strong> becomes a long weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n

A legal holiday celebrating the birth of one of the pillars of Philippine independence, Bonifacio Day falls on a Monday this year, ending 2 months of no long weekends with one from November 28 to 30<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Take this opportunity to visit one of the best beach destinations in the country, El Nido<\/a> in Palawan. If the trip appears to be too taxing, a great alternative would be Borawan<\/a> in the Quezon province<\/span><\/p>\n

December 24 and 25 (Thursday and Friday): A Special Non-working Holiday and Christmas Day<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

December 24 is declared a special non-working holiday to promote stronger family ties. That gives us a four-day long weekend from December 24 to 27<\/strong>! And the break continues\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

That adds a five-day long weekend from December 30 to January 3<\/strong> to our calendar! Watch out for the dates of this year’s Sagada Bonfire Festival<\/a>, plus a lot of New Year’s parties will surely be announced in the coming months too.<\/span><\/p>\n
