Tanduay, a Filipino brand of rum, is now the world’s top-selling rum and has taken over the spot\u00a0from the long-time domination of Bacardi. Drinks International has released the “definitive ranking of the world’s million-case rum brands”, citing Tanduay as the new industry leader followed by Bacardi and McDowell’s No. 1.<\/p>\n
In the first-ever Tanduay Executive Report to the Media last June 13, 2018, Tanduay Distillers, Inc announces their world domination as the top-selling rum in the world together with their increasing sales report and the future endeavors of the company.<\/p>\n Through their hands-on leadership, the company made historic expansions in the world arena, making alliances with companies in the United States. This expanded their distribution capacity making them known internationally.<\/p>\n As they continuously\u00a0explore the ever-changing marketing landscape, Tanduay Distillers implemented a nationwide music marketing campaign for the younger market and was also the first local liquor brand to sponsor an NBA Team\u2014the Golden State Warriors\u2014and launching their very own athletic brand: Tanduay Athletics.<\/p>\n Today, the company\u00a0continues to explore new markets abroad and market approaches locally to bring the brand closer to the younger consumers.
