Of sugar kisses and rainbow balloons, nothing can come close to how colorful and vibrant Manila\u2019s Kawaii community is! <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Kawaii PH launched Beyond the Cutest Dreams,<\/strong> their first book on Kawaii Culture in the Philippines last Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at SM Megamall\u2019s Mega A Event Center. The event took us into a whole new world of cute as they celebrated everything kawaii<\/em>!<\/span><\/p>\n

WELCOME TO THE LAND OF KAWAII! The Kawaii PH book launch program was opened by Jessica Galvez.<\/p>\n

.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was a whole day filled with nothing but arts and crafts, cute anim\u00e9 merchandise and fun activities! Guests came in their best kawaii<\/em> outfits to celebrate and appreciate this growing pop culture in our country. Local artists and stores had a merchandise corner where artwork, ribbons, and dresses were being sold.<\/span><\/p>\n

The event was very interactive and had two fun design activities. The first one was a pin button design table where everyone got a chance to make their very own pin art with colorful markers!<\/span><\/p>\n

With Converse being one of the main partners of the event, the second design activity corner allowed guests to kawaii-fy their very own pair of Converse! Different materials such as spikes, tubes of paint and glitters were provided for everyone\u2019s designing needs!<\/span><\/p>\n

Different performances such as dance numbers, ramp modeling, and best-dressed awards took place during the book launch. One of the program\u2019s highlights was the performance of singer and community-proclaimed kawaii<\/em>, Reese Lansangan!<\/span><\/p>\n
