The event was also a great time to showcase Nikkei Rockwell&#8217;s private room called\u00a0<em><strong>Issei<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/em>ideal for corporate meetings or private gatherings of 10 to 15 people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Small bites x Austrian wine<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">For the first course, two classic favorites,\u00a0<strong>Peruanito Tiradito\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Tako Causa<\/strong>, were served, along with an exciting new bite,\u00a0<strong>Tuna Latke<\/strong>.\u00a0These small bites were paired with<strong> Laurenz V. Singing Gruner Veltliner<\/strong> from Kremstal, Austria,\u00a0an easygoing wine that would spark memories of the beach or the tropical sun with its distinct fruity taste and refreshing fizz.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-27399\" style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Sushi x French white wine<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Three different kinds of sushi rolls were sampled and matched with a glass of fine white wine from Loire Valley, France,\u00a0<strong>Pascal Jolivet Attitude Sauvignon Blanc. <\/strong>The crisp and fresh wine was chosen to contrast the carb-rich and fatty texture of the sushi, with Sea Urchin Risotto<\/strong>, and mashed potato-based <strong>Carrilleras.<\/strong>\u00a0For these dishes, Wine Warehouse\u00a0prepared\u00a0<strong>6\u00c8me Sens Blanc, <\/strong>a four-grape variety blend from Languedoc, France,\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Villa Maria Private Bin Pinot Noir<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>from Marlborough, New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:
