The Philippine\u00a0government has announced several\u00a0operational plans for the Holy Week. For the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the challenge is greater with the surge of motorists driving out of the city for their long weekend destinations. Though their Facebook Page, the\u00a0department has released their\u00a0relevant hotlines\u00a0of emergency and\u00a0tollway operators.<\/p>\n

Under the \u201cOplan Biyaheng Ayos: Semana Santa 2018,\u201d DOTr’s\u00a0agencies would work 24\/7 to provide regular updates on operations in real time through their websites, help desks and these accessible hotlines.<\/p>\n

This announcement comes just two days after the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines announced its own Oplan Semana Santa, which\u00a0put in place a no-leave, no-day-off policy for airport personnel.<\/p>\n
