Visual Art.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u201cWhat&#8217;s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word <em>dream<\/em>?\u201d This was the question posted by rapper Quest at the recently held <a href=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/2015\/05\/28\/dreams-hope-and-fears-in-sleep-or-in-walking\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Dreams: Hopes and Fears in Sleep or in Waking<\/strong><\/a> last Sunday, May 31, 2015. Held at SOMA Space, Green Sun, the event was organized by different communities of artists &#8212; LOGOS, The Upward Project, and DOXA. Tristan Ortega and Monique Espiritu dazzled the audience with their piece about a realistic utopia. More poems followed from the night&#8217;s lineup of spoken word artists. The audience snapped to their heart&#8217;s content as they hear lines from the artists&#8217; musings and introspections. They gamely participated in the impromptu painting contest, co-presented by The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. It breaks the young generation from the bar-hopping, gadget-hogging stereotype. It proves that the youth can be spiritual and intellectual.
