FAILE paints the One Global Place Open Lot.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It was Saturday, May 23, 2015, and the festival has indeed begun.<\/span><\/p>\n

International artist FAILE<\/strong> started working on their contribution to the first-ever mural-centric arts festival. Located on the 5th<\/sup> and 26th<\/sup> streets at Bonifacio Global City, the wall of the 28-storey One Global Building served as the blank canvass for their unique art. Many people visited the site to witness the making of the mural first-hand. It was definitely more than that, though \u2013 it was a party. There were food carts and food stalls on the venue serving snacks, drinks, and cocktails to the ever excited crowd as they watched and moved to the groove of party music as the artist works in progress. A projector, a crane and a lot of paint was used to create the yet-to-be-finished work of art.<\/span><\/p>\n

SWEETS AND SPIRITS. Cupcakes by Sonja brought their famous cupcakes with the to the party, while a mobile bar served cocktails for everyone. <\/em><\/p>\n

Both selfies and pictures with friends and family were taken at the freedom wall<\/strong> where they can put anything they want with different cans of spray paint \u2013 anything, as long as it\u2019s positive and uplifting!.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Bonifacio High Street, on the other hand, the Art Mart<\/strong> was also taking place. Lots of artwork and handmade crafts were being sold: paintings, photographs, clay sculptures and even stickers showed clever craftsmanship, hard work and artistry.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Art BGC ONE Festival<\/a> hopes to create both a unique sense of place and build an experiential atmosphere for both local residents and international visitors to BGC. It aims to showcase the inclusive nature of public art by creating murals that can be enjoyed by the entire city of Manila as well as an international audience.<\/span><\/p>\n

With art \u201cunder construction\u201d all over the city, the ONE Festival is indeed on its way in making Bonifacio Global City even more beautiful.<\/span><\/p>\n
