\nGeneral Pediatrics<\/em><\/p>\n
Dr. Francisco is a pediatrician by profession. Originally, she was not into the medical field for it was her parents\u2019 choice, but fell in love with the profession she took later on and saw it as something which is very rewarding for her as an individual. She has been in the medical field for about 14 years and starts her day by doing rounds for her in-patients. She also holds her clinic for about 2-3 hours every day.<\/p>\n
She took her undergraduate degree in Biology at the West Visayas State University in Iloilo City and her medical degree at the Our Lady of Fatima University \u2013 College of Medicine.<\/p>\n
She believes that all doctors are trained to face emergency cases and to think under pressure but hopes that her patients don\u2019t suffer severe cases and can be given easy remedies. And because of the hard work she continuously gives in her chosen field, she was awarded as the top performing doctor at St. Clare\u2019s Medical Center in 2017.<\/p>\n

Her advice for people who would want to venture the medical field: \u201cBeing a doctor is really hard.\u00a0If you\u2019ve decided to become a doctor, it is important to remember that venturing into this field would mean a lot of sacrifices. Being in this field would also require a lot of patience and a lot of empathy and sensitivity to take care of patients. You have to be passionate about your work and must be caring because you must be able to treat your patients properly and without bias.\u201d<\/p>\n
