Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri<\/em> is a darkly comedic drama from Academy Award\u00ae winner Martin McDonagh (In Bruges).<\/p>\n

After months have passed without a culprit in her daughter\u2019s murder case, Mildred Hayes (Academy Award\u00ae winner Frances McDormand) makes a bold move, commissioning three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at William Willoughby (Academy Award\u00ae nominee Woody Harrelson), the town’s revered chief of police.<\/p>\n

When his second-in-command Officer Dixon (Sam Rockwell), an immature mother\u2019s boy with a penchant for violence, gets involved, the battle between Mildred and Ebbing’s law enforcement is only exacerbated. The last stand erupts in as a mother is pushed to the edge by her daughter\u2019s unsolved murder.<\/p>\n

From this year\u2019s Golden Globe Awards, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri<\/em>\u00a0has already won Best Motion Picture \u2013 Drama, Best Screenplay for a Motion Picture \u2013 Martin McDonagh, Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture Drama \u2013 Frances McDormand and Best Supporting Actor \u2013 Sam Rockwell.\u00a0 The film also took home major awards in this year\u2019s Critics\u2019 Choice Awards for Best Acting Ensemble, Best Actress \u2013 Frances McDormand and Best Supporting Actor \u2013 Sam Rockwell.<\/p>\n
