Hundreds of thousands of cars, buses, and other public utility vehicles (PUVs) traverse the busy streets of Manila on any given day. Traffic congestion in the\u00a0city has already reached a point where it seems inevitable, difficult to be addressed properly, and\u00a0may not have a permanent fix. Reducing it may be the government’s only option.<\/p>\n
With the government\u2019s efforts to ease the traffic congestion problem, a new transport terminal was introduced through the Taguig Integrated Terminal Exchange (ITX)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \n \n Rush-hour traffic can cripple downtown areas where distances can sometimes require spending a lot of time in a vehicle, especially during rush hour. Upon the completion of the ITX, it will not only improve the public\u2019s commuting experience but also serve as a way to at least decongest traffic along EDSA.<\/p>\n \n ITX is and will be one of the major projects under the Ayala Corporation which is set to stand in a six-story building within the FTI compound in Taguig City where its construction will begin on the second half of the year 2018.<\/p>\n \n Upon its completion, it will have its own centralized ticketing area, similar to that of the MRT and LRT stations; a number of businesses, retail, and food establishments; and accommodation of a great number of passengers at hand.
