Lunar New Year,<\/strong>\u00a0also known as the Spring Festival in China, is mostly celebrated by members of the Chinese community all over the world. The festival goes on for about 23 days, ending on the 15th day of the first\u00a0<\/em>lunar\u00a0month for that year.<\/p>\n

In the Philippines, Chinese New Year is celebrated in commemoration of the friendship between the Chinese and Filipino. Some traditions and dishes are brought upon by them to the Filipinos, that it became a regular doing up to this time.
