He specializes in liver diseases and liver transplantation.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Gensolin has been a surgeon for 12 years and believes that surgery is the best field to specialize in. &#8220;You can cover all bases, from diagnosis right down to performing the surgery itself,&#8221; said Dr. Gensolin.<\/p>\n<p>He follows a holistic approach to\u00a0his diagnosis and treatment. He looks for what caused the illness instead of basing it solely on\u00a0a patient&#8217;s charts. Dr. Gensolin believes treating the cause can take out all other symptoms a patient may have.<\/p>\n<p>A former resident doctor\u00a0at the United Doctors Medical Center in Quezon City, Dr. Gensolin trained for liver diseases and liver transplantation at the prestigious Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong. His advice to those who want to get into medicine: Be patient.
