For some time, many people have been discovered and made known through the presence of social media, particularly in YouTube.<\/p>\n
YouTube channel Best Cover Ever<\/em>\u00a0featured a number of musically inclined individuals who were discovered from around the world, competing against each other to stand a chance to own the spotlight with their idols.<\/p>\n \n This show aired exclusively on YouTube last November 20, 2017,\u00a0and was hosted by Ludacris, under the production of Ryan Seacrest and Endemol Shine North America. It has featured some of music’s biggest stars, including the likes of Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, Jason Derulo, Charlie Puth, Keith Urban, Backstreet Boys, Flo Rida, and DNCE.<\/p>\n It was during Joe Jonas and his group DNCE\u2019s turn in searching for the next breakout stars when an unexpected duo from the Philippines was short-listed by the said production. Lesha Litonjua and Leo Malili, known collectively as Lesha x ELM, are college friends who decided to upload videos of themselves on YouTube doing covers of\u00a0today’s best hits.<\/p>\n \n Aside from doing covers, Lesha x ELM have\u00a0performed\u00a0in some of the biggest parties in\u00a0Metro Manila and became front acts during concerts by international artists.
