Dra. Nimfa Liwanag is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist by profession. She took B.S. Medical Technology for pre-medicine and her medicine degree at St. Louis University in Baguio City. She has been a medical doctor for about 20 years now.<\/p>\n
She considers taking care of her patients as a commitment and a calling. While she holds regular clinic hours, she also attends to various emergency situations as they rise. \u201cAttending to women in labor does not give one the liberty of having pre-determined schedules. It can happen during the wee hours in the morning or just minutes before the clock strikes 12 for the new year.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n She has been trained to handle emergencies professionally, and being up-to-date with the ever evolving body of knowledge of the medical profession, give her patients the assurance that they are in competent hands. She is also presently part of the residency training program committee of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, and heads the Breastfeeding Program in the same department.<\/p>\n Dra.
