Romulo Auditorium, Makati City, everyone enjoyed the Japanese sit-down comedy <strong>ANA YOSE Rakugo in English.\u00a0<\/strong>Sounds of laughter and clapping of hands were heard all throughout the performances. Seated on a zabuton cushion, a comic tells a story, energetically speaking the dialogue for all the imaginary characters. To clearly distinguish one character from the other, Rakugo performers use various speech\u00a0patterns and gestures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21814\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/10\/rsz_image.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1184\" height=\"785\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/10\/rsz_image.jpg 1184w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/10\/rsz_image-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/10\/rsz_image-768x509.jpg 768w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/10\/rsz_image-1024x679.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1184px) 100vw, 1184px\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>The amazing staff of ANA and Rakugo Masters\u00a0after sit-down comedy<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The only props used in Rakugo are<em> sensu<\/em> (folding fan) and a <em>tenugui<\/em> (hand towel). Performers manipulate these to mimic all kinds of actions. The performances presented last week were witty, heartwarming and comedic, that everyone enjoyed all through-out the show. Katsura has performed in 20 countries around the world.
