The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), successfully held another networking night last September 26, 2017, sponsored by\u00a0Marcventures Holdings, Inc., and Diageo in partnership with\u00a0one of the popular speakeasy bars in Makati,\u00a0 Alcohol by Volume (ABV).<\/p>\n

The Networking Socials night started with a short talk given by Mr. Florian Gottein, ECCP’s Executive Director, and an introduction of Diageo Philippines\u00a0which is a global leader in alcoholic beverage with an outstanding collection of brands across spirits and beer \u2013 a business built on the principles and foundations laid by the giants of the industry.<\/p>\n

During the event, Diageo\u00a0showcased and introduced two new products under the malt family which includes the Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition and the 12-year old Lagavulin. The Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition is double-matured in Oloroso cask wood which has a rich winey sweetness, spicy complexity, and a very drying oaky finish. The 12-year old Lagavulin on the other hand is another limited edition malt matured in a natural cask that offers a clean\u00a0and fresh maritime aroma, directed on full flavor.<\/p>\n

Aside from Diageo’s product launch, the Networking Socials was attended by over\u00a0100 guests, consisting of both non-members and members of the organization,\u00a0which are mostly from the IT, real estate, BPO, architecture, food & beverage, legal services, environmental, and agricultural industries\u00a0 gathered to meet each other in a series of brief exchanges during a set period of time and be able to exchange information after\u00a0sharing their professional backgrounds and business goals.<\/p>\n
