It\u2019s a place that combines accessibility, culture, and health: <strong><b>Nagano Prefecture.<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21054\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/09\/2-9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/09\/2-9.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/09\/2-9-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/09\/2-9-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>MR. ATSUSHI MATSUURA, General Manager of SMaC, Inc. in the Philippines<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Leading the way was Mr. Atsushi Matsuura of Sunada Matsuura and Company, Inc. (SMaC, Inc.). He gave those in attendance not just a primer on Nagano but also highlighted three reasons why Filipinos should visit the prefecture during this year\u2019s <strong><b>Japan Nagano Tourism Seminar and Business Meeting<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0at the Makati Sports Club.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21055\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/09\/3-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/09\/3-6.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/09\/3-6-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/09\/3-6-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>HOME OF THE 1998\u00a0WINTER OLYMPICS. Nagano has some of the best ski slopes in Japan, and it was put to good use during the 1998 Winter Olympics.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>One of the reasons for visiting Nagano that he highlighted was how accessible it was from the cities of Tokyo and Nagoya. \u201cTokyo is about 80 minutes away from the city of Nagano by Shinkansen and only 60 minutes by JR Limited Express from Nagoya via the town of Kiso.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also pointed out how the Prefecture is perfect for nature trips, history buffs, and experiencing Japanese culture as a whole. It boasts the most number of 3,000-meter high mountains in Japan along with unobstructed views of the night sky.<\/p>\n<p>Nagano also boasts of harmony between man and nature, with 16 rice terraces in the Prefecture. It\u2019s also home to some of the best ski slopes in Japan, with 87 ski grounds in all. It was also the home of the 1998 Winter Olympics and the popular Snow Monkeys.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, he highlighted how Nagano has some of the best food for those looking to live healthy lives.
