After being colonized by the French, people in Vietnam started to indulge bread as part of their main menu or as a replacement for rice. Even after the colonizers had already left, this influence on local food and culture remained with the Vietnamese people up to today. \u00a0We have listed places where you can get your first bite\u00a0of this Vietnamese staple.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Bon Bahn Mi<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bon Bahn Mi made its way to the public last 2013. It is owned by a Vietnamese couple who had been in the country for a couple of years. What makes the Bahn Mi in Bon Bahn Mi is the authenticity of the product is authentic as it can get. It would surprise you that he is actually a half-Filipino, his mother is a Filipino. Although a kiosk, Banh Nam still offers seats to their customers while still serving their famed sandwich.
