The sun shines bright because the 38th<\/sup> Manila International Book Fair <\/strong>officially opens its doors to all book lovers today at the SMX Convention Center Manila. Now with two floors of exhibit space to cater to all book fair goers, MIBF 2017 gets bigger with over 100 exhibitors bringing our much-needed dose of the printed word!<\/p>\n

To formally open the event, De La Salle Philippines President and former Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro, FSC and TV Host\/Media Personality Boy Abunda joined the ribbon cutting and gave a heartwarming speech to celebrate the written word.<\/p>\n

After the event, Aki the Book Fair mascot toured around the exhibit to show the various collections of exhibitors: from literature, academic books, spirituality, travel magazines, pocketbooks, encyclopedias, children\u2019s books, Young Adult, comics, and more. Aside from books, there are also interactive booths where kids can enjoy learning through digital experience. Also, make sure to make the most out of the event as special discounts are given by several publishing houses!<\/p>\n

Bro. Armin Luistro also asks for book lovers’ help to donate books for the children of Marawi.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
