Dr. Jesus A. Relos is an internist- hematologist by profession. He\u00a0 passed the Phil Board of Medicine in 1998, took Internal medicine residency for 3 years at Makati Medical Center and 3 years subspecialty training In Haematology at the UP- PGH for 3 more years. He is a medical doctor for 19 years, and on his 12th year as a practicing Internist- Hematologist.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a vague recollection of why I wanted to be a doctor as a child but becoming one is always a ready answer whenever I was asked. Maybe It’s a mindset ? Fortunate that I “survived” and “enjoyed” the seemingly endless years of training. As for his advice for people who want to pursue a career in the medical field he states that: \u201cFor those who want to follow a career path in medicine and hematology specifically, it’s literally BLOODY, be ready to shed your own, to save a patient’s life. Remember that excellent works and good deeds are not left unnoticed. I feel appreciated when my research works are presented and published and upfront feedback when minds are stimulated to ask questions whenever I deliver a talk. But nothing beats when a patient smiles, our eyes meet and not a single word is spoken.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Aside from being a hematologist, he also offers the following services: bone marrow transplant, chemotherapy, cancer screening, treatment for aplastic anemia, and treatment for gastroenteritis. He specializes in cardiology, hematology, internal medicine-cardiology, and IM-Hema\/Oncology.<\/p>\n
