The ranking is based on\u00a0economic dynamism, government efficiency, infrastructure, and resiliency.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Recognition plaques were awarded during the 5th Regional Competitiveness Summit and Awards held last August 16 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay. Besides the 1st place award for overall competitiveness, Quezon City also received the 1st place award for infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Manila City, which was the overall most competitive city back in 2015, ranked 1st on government efficiency this year.
