LTO still has a backlog of 3.6 million driver&#8217;s license applications which the agency will process in\u00a0September starting with those in Metro Manila, followed by Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and Davao.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">President Rodrigo Duterte signed last August 2 the law extending the validity of driver&#8217;s licenses from three years to five years.
