Heads up!\u00a0Another long weekend is on its way as President Rodrigo Duterte signed Proclamation 297 declaring Friday, September 1 as a regular holiday in observance of Eid\u2019l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice.<\/p>\n

Eid\u2019l Adha is one of two Muslim holidays that are now celebrated nationwide, along with Eid\u2019l Fitr. The date depends on the Islamic Calendar, which the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos has recommended to be celebrated on September 1, 2017.<\/p>\n
