<\/span>After opening the doors of the Presidential Museum and Library (PML) to visitors at no cost, the Palace has recently extended the access to the whole world through Google Arts & Culture online.<\/p>\n

\"\"We’ve tried it, and it was a worthwhile tour.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Through the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), PML collaborated with Google to let people from anywhere in the country and around the world access the Palace\u2019s invaluable exhibits, artifacts, and architecture through an online immersive exhibition. This is a part of President Rodrigo Duterte’s mandate to make Malaca\u00f1an Palace accessible to everyone.<\/p>\n

Through Google Arts & Culture, online visitors can read about the history of Malaca\u00f1an Palace and, in a Google Street View style, explore two curated exhibits that highlight valuable items and other memorabilia from the past administrations up to the current one.<\/p>\n

\"\"You can also zoom in and take a closer look at certain displays.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The “Malaca\u00f1ang as Prize, Pulpit, and Stage” exhibit presents the Palace as more than just the official residence of the President of the Philippines.<\/p>\n

The “Relics of Power: Remembering the Philippine Presidents” exhibit lets you see through historical artifacts and artworks the legacies of the country’s past and current presidents.<\/p>\n

Wherever you are, you can virtually visit the\u00a0Malaca\u00f1ang Presidential Museum and Library through the Google Arts & Culture site<\/a> or via the mobile app available for Android and iOS.<\/p>\n
