<\/p>\nUber has formally launched a new in-app feature that lets you request a ride for another guest.<\/p>\n
When you set a pickup away from your current location, the app automatically detects and asks who will be riding. You can then choose the rider from your contacts list, enter their destination, and request a ride for them.<\/p>\n

The driver will also be able to see the rider\u2019s details and contact them directly.
