Yuchengco Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n Created as an art gallery to showcase the art collection of the late Alfonso Yuchengco, RCBC Plaza\u2019s Yuchengco Museum is opening its doors to everyone for free on May 18 in celebration of International Museum Day.<\/p>\n Get to see the following exhibits and galleries on display at the Yuchengco Museum:<\/p>\n You can find the Yuchengco Museum at RCBC Plaza, Ayala Ave. cor. Sen. Gil J. Puyat Ave., Makati City. They will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on May 18, 2017.<\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n Metropolitan Museum of Manila<\/strong><\/p>\n We all know the Metropolitan Museum of Manila, sometimes called the MET Museum, for letting people in free of charge every Tuesday (10:00 am \u2013 5:30 pm) and giving a free guided tour of their main exhibitions every Saturday at 2:00 pm.<\/p>\n What you may have not noticed is that they have also been a part of #IMD2017 for as long as we can remember. Not only will they be letting everyone in for free tomorrow, May 18, they\u2019re upping the ante with free guided tours of the following exhibits:<\/p>\n 11:00 am:<\/strong> Seascapes: Tranquility and Agitation<\/em>; Abot–<\/em>Tanaw: Tracking Local Horizons<\/em><\/p>\n 3:00 pm: <\/strong>Mapping the Philippine Seas: Maps and Charts of the Philippine Archipelago from the 16th<\/sup> to the 19th<\/sup> Centuries with Dr. Jaime C. Laya<\/em><\/p>\n The Metropolitan Museum of Manila is located at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Complex, Roxas Blvd., Malate, Manila. They\u2019ll be open from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm on May 18.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Casa Manila<\/strong><\/p>\n If you\u2019re into looking at how people lived in the Philippines prior to the arrival of the Americans, then a visit to Casa Manila in Intramuros is a must. They\u2019ve chosen to let go of their entrance fee for May 18, so if you want to get your fill of Spanish occupation living, then head for Casa Manila tomorrow!<\/p>\n Casa Manila is located at Plaza San Luis Complex, Gen. Luna St. cor. Real St., Intramuros, Manila. It\u2019s open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Ayala Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n If you\u2019re not looking to venture too far away from Makati\u2019s Ayala Center, then we suggest dropping by the Ayala Museum. It\u2019s that museum on the corner of Makati Ave. and Dela Rosa St. that\u2019s sitting in front of Greenbelt 3.<\/p>\n They\u2019re celebrating International Museum Day a day later than the rest, but the delay is #WORTH. Not only are they doing it on a Friday, they\u2019re also staying open later than usual! Can you say #datenight?<\/p>\n But that\u2019s not the best part! Apart from free entrance to all of their exhibits, all guests will have a chance to attend special themed tours, join art activities, dine on Mindanao specialty food stalls, and attend a talk by the artists behind Manara<\/em>: Toym Imao and Liliana Manahan.<\/p>\n The Ayala Museum is located at Dela Rosa St. cor.
