You would forgo any trips outside because you feel like you\u2019ve done them all: camping, kayaking, ziplines, trips to the beach, etc.<\/p>\n<p>It feels like attractions outside Metro Manila don&#8217;t offer much&#8230; that is, until you\u2019ve tried (almost) every single one on this list:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Fly an ultralight (Angeles City Flying Club)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16101\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/04\/IMG_9405_marked.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/04\/IMG_9405_marked.jpg 600w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2017\/04\/IMG_9405_marked-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/> <span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>ULTRALIGHT. It\u2019s kind of like a bare-bones aircraft that\u2019s perfect for beginners to learn how to fly on.\/PRIMER FILE PHOTO<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>They don\u2019t hand out pilot\u2019s licenses the same way they do driver\u2019s licenses (though we heard that will improve soon enough). You can, however, get a feel for what it would be like by visiting the <strong>Angeles City Flying Club<\/strong> in Pampanga.<\/p>\n<p>Located about 16 kilometers outside of Clark Airfield, it\u2019s the best place to learn how to fly that\u2019s within two to three hours of Metro Manila. Try your hand at flying an ultralight, which is like a plane stripped of the entire fuselage, for only P2,466. If you have too much fun, you can take it to the next level and be a full member!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Angeles City Flying Club<br \/>\n<\/em><em>Woodland Airpark Talimundok, Sta. Molino in Bacoor, Cavite nets you a chance to try flowboarding.\/IMAGE Flow House Manila<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Flowboarding (sometimes called flowriding) is a hybrid sport of sorts, combining surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, skateboarding, and skimboarding. In our opinion, there\u2019s only one place to visit if you want to try flowboarding: <strong>Flow House Manila<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Related article:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/2015\/03\/31\/flow-house-manila\/\" target=\"_blank\">Flow House Manila<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Before you get any ideas, no, it\u2019s not located in Metro Manila (even if it has \u201cManila\u201d in its name). It\u2019s located in Bacoor, Cavite, roughly an hour or so away from Metro Manila. Their state-of-the-art FlowRider is designed to let even beginners experience the feeling of surfing a wave without being in the open ocean. They also play host to the Asia FLOW Tour, one of the premier flowboarding competitions in Asia, as well as being a place to hang out (they\u2019ve got their own bar and grill and can act as a party venue!).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Flow House Manila<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>Elements Mall, Molino Blvd., Brgy. Wakeboarding usually requires a speedboat, but not at Republ1c or CWC.\/PRIMER FILE PHOTO<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yes, it sounds a bit common, but we\u2019re pretty sure you\u2019ve never even thought about wakeboarding until you saw videos of people doing it in the CamSur Water Complex. Unless you\u2019re willing to get a plane ticket to Naga (one hour ride) or brave the nine-hour drive to Camarines Sur, we suggest visiting <strong>Republ1c Wakepark<\/strong> in Nuvali.<\/p>\n<p><em>Also read:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/2015\/12\/08\/republ1c-wakepark\/\" target=\"_blank\">Republ1c Wakepark<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the closest wakepark to Manila (two hour drive max) and is 100% beginner friendly. They\u2019ve got professional wakeboarders who will teach you how to wakeboard at their beginner area. Already a wakeboarder? Take away the hike and all the other manual labor in camping and you get glamping.\/IMAGE Nurture Wellness Village <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Glamping is a relatively new trend that\u2019s sweeping most millennials (or at least those who hate hassle). Only \u201ctacsiyapo\u201d is allowed, but then again, that\u2019s all you need.\/IMAGE Alt3rnate Route<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ever wanted to throw something at someone just because you\u2019re pissed at them? We won\u2019t recommend you do that, but you can choose to throw something at a wall while yelling \u201cTacsiyapo\u201d at <strong>Isdaan Floating Restaurant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Isdaan is as the name implies: it\u2019s a man-made floating restaurant which started in Gerona, Tarlac and has a branch in Calamba, Laguna if you\u2019re closer to the south. A three-hour drive away from Metro Manila, it\u2019s the largest floating playground in Asia with 3,400 square meters of nothing but wet and wild fun. It has a lot of options for play (trampoline, several slides, rock climbing, giant swings, Tarzan Slide) but our personal favorite is the Human Launcher.<\/p>\n<p>Just have your friend sit or lie down at one end while you jump on the other end to launch them in the air&#8230; and (hopefully) hear them scream.
