American travel magazine Travel + Leisure<\/em> recently released a list of the World\u2019s Friendliest Islands, and four of them in the list are found in the Philippines.<\/p>\n

For its annual World\u2019s Best Awards survey, Travel + Leisure<\/em> surveys people to score and evaluate their travel experiences around the world. On the World\u2019s Friendliest Islands list, readers scored the \u201cromantic charm and friendliness of the people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Coming in at No. 4 is Boracay,<\/a> <\/strong>described as \u201cbeloved for its welcoming people as it is for its undeniable beauty.\u201d Placing in the third spot is Luzon, which is the largest island in the Philippines. McHugh described the island as a \u201cdynamic destination for travelers seeking a rich cultural experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cebu comes in at the second place, mentioning the locals, Cebuanos, as one of the island\u2019s greatest qualities. And last but not the least, Palawan claimed top spot for World\u2019s Friendliest Island. According to one\u00a0Travel + Leisure<\/em> reader, \u201cpeople are very welcoming, respectful, and friendly [in Palawan].\u201d Aside from that, Palawan was described as the \u201cworld\u2019s most convivial island destination.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other islands included in the list are Waiheke in New Zealand, Ischia in Italy, Tasmania in Australia, Fiji Islands, Bali in Indonesia, Great Barrier Reef Islands, Moorea, Paros in Greece, Bora Bora, Exhumas in Bahamas, and Caye Caulker in Belize.<\/p>\n
