Alliance Global Group Inc., and the Department of Public Works and Highways and Department of Transportation launched the P1.9-billion project dubbed as Runway Manila today.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to a report by CNN Philippines, Runway Manila, the country\u2019s first pedestrian bridge with walkalators will be open to the public starting Friday at 5:00 in the morning.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 220-meter pedestrian bridge will link NAIA Terminal 3 and Newport City, and will cut down travel time between both structures down to 10 minutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe facility is beautifully designed, it looks modern and spacious. It is fully air conditioned and equipped with walkalators and elevators for passengers\u2019 convenience,\u201d said CNN Philippines\u2019 Correspondent, Makoi Popioco.<\/span><\/p>\n

Runway Manila can accommodate a maximum of 2,000 persons.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Runway Manila project was originally for completion by mid-2017, but had to be fast-tracked with the upcoming ASEAN summit.<\/span><\/p>\n
