Gary Gimotea as its commanding officer.<\/p>\n<p>During the ceremony, DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade inspected the vessel\u2019s fire monitors, night vision camera &amp; bullet proof navigational bridge.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Japanese Ambassador Kazuhide Ishikawa said that \u201cBRP Malapascua is testament of strong ties between PH &amp; Japan.
