Poke Poke is the newest destination for diners looking for a fun and hearty alternative to sushi and salad. It has two branches open in Estancia Mall, Pasig City and in SM Aura, Taguig City.<\/p>\n

According to Head Chef Kel Zaguirre, \u201cif I could relate it to our world now:\u00a0poke\u00a0is the millennial thing and sushi is the traditional one. You have to have discipline for sushi, but with\u00a0poke, you can go wild and blend it with anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Poke\u00a0is a Hawaiian staple that has been gaining traction in cities across the United States. Borrowing heavily from Japanese influences, traditional\u00a0poke\u00a0consists of marinated cuts of seafood and meats served over a bed of white rice, often soaked in vinegar.<\/p>\n
