Made in collaboration with Google and Intel, TAG Heuer took their techniques and attention to even the smallest of details and have put it into the Modular 45. It\u2019s an all-metal connected watch, something that\u2019s rare for others in the same category. It\u2019s water-resistant to 50 meters, has its own GPS, and is enabled for near-field communications (NFC).<\/p>\n

AMBIENT MODE. The Modular 45 is, first and foremost, a time piece. It would be rendered useless if it only showed a black screen, wouldn\u2019t it? This nifty feature, called Ambient Mode, ensures that you can still tell the time even if you\u2019re not connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.<\/em><\/p>\n

The 45-mm Modular 45 sports a 287-ppi AMOLED display and packs a 410 mAH battery, rated for more than 25 hours of usage. It\u2019s powered by a 1.6-Ghz Intel\u00ae Atom\u2122 Z34XX series processor with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage.<\/p>\n

Google has also powered it with Android Wear\u2122 2.0, the latest version of their wearable OS. Apart from overall improvements to the user experience and having access to the Play Store straight from the Modular 45, Android Wear also improved its compatibility with iOS devices.<\/p>\n
