PH lands on the 58<sup>th<\/sup> spot in IEF 2017. Heritage Foundation, which \u201cmeasures the impact of liberty and free markets around the globe.\u201d The index also confirms positive relationship between economic freedom and progress, according to their website.<\/p>\n<p>PH got an overall score of 65.6 which is \u201chigher than the 60.4 average across Asia Pacific,\u201d as per Business World reports. As per the\u00a0 IEF, \u201cdespite the challenging global economic environment, the Philippines has achieved notable economic expansion, driven by the economy\u2019s strong export performance and inflows of remittances that have bolstered private consumption.
