The La Mer choral group also dramatically performed Tagalog song \u201cBayan Ko\u201d. Their next performances were festive and mellow Japanese songs which they sang with gentle, smiling faces, each song leaving the audience hanging on their seats wondering what tune will serenade them next.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1328\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/staff-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/12\/La-Mer-4.jpg\" alt=\"La Mer 4\" width=\"628\" height=\"472\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/12\/La-Mer-4.jpg 628w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/12\/La-Mer-4-290x218.jpg 290w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2014\/12\/La-Mer-4-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 628px) 100vw, 628px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The next performers were that of the predominantly male Manila Glee Club also donned in the traditional Filipino clothing for men, the Barong Tagalog. Formed 11 years ago in December 2003, the Manila Glee Club is mostly composed of Japanese company employees. The first three songs they performed were Japanese songs \u201cWhat I Dream\u201d which was composed by a popular choral composer. The second piece they performed was \u201cBe Excited\u201d a song that reflected the excitement in the glee club\u2019s daily lives. The last of the first three songs, \u201cFarewell Snow\u201d gives off feelings of a painful farewell. One of the highlights of their performance would be their singing of one of the Philippine\u2019s most popular songs during Christmas time, \u201cPasko na Sinta Ko\u201d. It was then followed with the Japanese version of another recent Disney song \u201cLet It Go\u201d, a song and dance performance of a Japanese song, and Japanese versions of various Christmas songs.
