<\/p>\nSari-sari store owners will be getting a big boost as consumer product giant Procter and Gamble (P&G) recently signed a contract with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to spearhead a micro-entrepreneurship development program.<\/p>\n
Called \u201cAngat Kita\u201d, this program is designed to help sari-sari store owners gain knowledge, develop their business skills, and be given access to their required start-up capital.<\/p>\n
One thousand initial participants from the cities of Manila, Makati, Mandaluyong, Marikina, and Quezon city will receive P2,500 worth of products from P&G as a start-up package after they complete a basic merchandising seminar.<\/p>\n
