Photo grabbed from <a href=\"http:\/\/mmda.gov.ph\/42-gallery-2016\/2292-flag-raising-ceremony-with-new-mmda-deputy-chairman-cris-san-juan-october-24-2016\">MMDA Photo Gallery<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>General Manager Thomas \u201cTim\u201d Orbos said that there was a need to review the policy after the agency received numerous applications from private motorists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe volume of vehicles is there but we have to revisit the policies on the exemptions under the UVVRP because this might defeat the purpose of reducing the number of cars on the roads,\u201d Orbos said.<\/p>\n<p>He also reiterated that the issuance of exemptions is not mandatory, as they would still need to go through evaluations.
