Filipino-American stage actor and singer, Adam Jacob along with other 4 Filipinos are cast at the \u2018Aladdin\u2019 Disney Musical which began performances this January.<\/p>\n

Jacob has recently played as Simba in The Lion King<\/em>, Marius in Les Miserables, <\/em>landed lead roles in the national and regional tours of Zorro, Once on this Island, Ordinary Days, Mamma Mia<\/em>, and Cinderella <\/em>among others. And now, he will play as \u2018Aladdin\u2019 in the said musical.<\/p>\n

Dan Darryl Rivera, born in Seatlle will star as Lago, and is ecstatic on his Broadway debut. 3 more Filipinos including Bobby Pestka, Joshua dela Cruz and Angelo Soriano will also be part of the hit musical and will be showcasing variety of singing and dancing.<\/p>\n

In addition to the musical\u2019s spectacular music, the production has brought life to the story, including a more sophisticated relationship between Aladdin and Jasmine.<\/p>\n

Hailed by USA Today as \u201cGenie-us\u201d \u2018Aladdin\u2019 the Musical is said to have a tour in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, and Japan.<\/p>\n
